Social media marketing is its own type of animal meaning companies must abandoned many of the traditional type of marketing approaches in order to appeal to potential customers in a social media setting. Companies must learn to build relationships and interact with some time before introducing a sales element into the relationship. for the companies that get it right, social media can be a very powerful marketing tool.
