This seems like a very interesting series. I love that Rayne is actively trying to become a vampire instead of just finding out that vampires are real and suddenly longing to become one even though she had no interest in it beforehand.

Awesomeeeee. I've always wanted to read books dealing with the supernatural beings and such but I could never find the right book that contains everything I like. I believe this is what I'm looking for. So I'll die happy to read this because everyone knows I love reading things like this. ^-^

I hadn't heard of Mari until I saw her books on Melissa Walker's blog on Wednesday! But they sound incredible, and the new covers rock.

That's so cool that she got to go back and rewrite some things and add a cliffhanger, those are always fun! ;)

I love Gamer Girl! My friend and I read it at the same time (with the same book) and we kept spazzing over the pop culture stuff (Manic Panic! Manic Panic!) and characters we identified with.

I didn't know about her other series - I'll have to check it out.

Great interview! I really enjoyed reading your replies, Mari. I haven't had the chance to read this series yet, but it's at the top of my wishlist! :D

I really hope the publishers wake up and agree to more books-- I hate when they cut a good series short because there's "not enough interest" in it, aka, it's not making the "big" bucks they wanted. :D

Thanks for having Mari Mancusi here. I hadn't heard of her before and I enjoyed learning about her & her books. THE BLOOD COVEN series sounds like great reads. Now I've put them on my Get&Read list!
