Sixteen-year-old, Sonata Wilde is living in Hell.
Not literally Hell, more like a prison stashed away in the mountains known as The Cell. All mythical beings were banished to live here nine years ago, segregated from the humans. Being trapped in captivity is breaking her down and the temptation of escaping grows stronger, regardless of what it might cost her.
No one has ever made it out of The Cell, not with the extreme voltage on the wires and constant guards on patrol. It’s damn near impossible, minus one loophole. Sonata has a plan ready to set in motion, along with help standing by to make sure it all goes accordingly. The taste of freedom is within her grasp and she’s ready to embrace it once again.
All she has to do now is stay alive.
“Sara Tribble was born in New York, raised in Michigan, lived in Texas then returned to Michigan. She has served as a Publishing Editor, published several short stories and is a freelancer when time allows it. Beyond The Cell will be her first published novel. Currently, she still resides in Michigan with her husband, Jessie.
She really hopes this will not be her one and only novel, which is probably why she stays busy writing short stories and manuscripts.“

Looks like a great match for the synopsis! This is the first I’ve heard of this title but I doubt it will be the last. Gonna have to add it to the old wish list. Thanks for sharing!

At first I thought she had planted her feet in some poison ivy. But a closer look at the distinctive leaf pattern has as being a tulip poplar (actually related to the Magnolia rather than othe poplar trees).

Gina, thanks for the kind words! I really hope it has a good run!
Russell, I’ve never had poison ivy, but its only a matter of time considering I go barefoot ALL the time in spring, summer and fall. =D

Oooooh, I like the sound of this book! Makes me wonder what type of mythical being our main character will end up being!
As far as the cover goes, I like the subtle outline of the barbed wires and interesting use of colour. It adds to the mystery.
