Valentines Day Themed Giveaway: Love. Maybe? by Heather Hepler

Love is in the air! It’s Valentines day! (or it will be here shortly since I’m actually posting this on the 13!) I have a Valentine FOR YOU! Well, one of you.
I have a finished copy of Love. Maybe? by Heather Hepler and a pair of earrings too!
Just because Piper’s birthday is on Valentine’s Day does not mean she’s a romantic. In fact, after watching her father and then her stepfather leave, she’s pretty sure she doesn’t believe in love at all. Then her friends concoct a plan to find them all Valentine’s dates, and somehow Piper finds herself with the most popular guy in school. But true love never follows a plan, and a string of heartfelt gifts from a secret admirer has Piper wondering if she might be with the wrong guy.
In this heartwarming romance, true love is more than a maybe – and it might be closer than you think.

I haven’t been able to find them for years now, but my favourite Valentine treat used to be these delicious heart gummies that I bought from Giant Tiger. Lol. Otherwise, a mini heart shaped red velvet cake should do the trick! Haha.

I love anything chocolate. Especially if it has toffee, or creme, or some other such sugary substance inside. Because when you’re eating sugar, why not go all out and consume as much as possible in one piece? Right? My favorites are Symphony bars (the ones with toffee) and any kind of truffle. I love the chocolate boxes! I also just bought a bag of snickers and a bag of cherry blow pops for a second grade class that I will be helping out with tomorrow, and I snuck a few blow pops into my dresser drawer to have for myself later. I will never outgrow blow pops. It’s bubble gum inside suckers!

I used to be a sucker for candy hearts. But, then I had a “traumatic” experience in high school when my friends stole my bag of candy hearts during math class, licked off all the “romantic” sayings, and wrote vulgar saying in red ink. It was all in good fun, we had a laugh, but I’ve never been able to look at candy hearts the same way ever since. Nowadays, my favorite Valentine Day treat are the Valentine’s peeps! They’re in the shape of hearts, and you can either get strawberry flavored or french vanilla flavored marshmallows. They are divine, and the french vanilla peeps taste especially exquisite in hot cocoa!
