I don’t usually post about book trailers. Honestly they don’t do much for me. But recently there have been some awesome book trailers, especially for some YA books (insert V’s VLC Photo Productions) One of the first book trailers that I watched again and again was Simone Elkeles’ trailer for Perfect Chemisty. It doesn’t really do the book justice… it’s a completely different tone than the novel, but it is hilarious! And sooo catchy. You can see it at Simone’s website. Recently Simone did a trailer for her upcoming release Rules of Attraction (April 13) which is the sequel to Perfect Chemistry… and I love these two books. So… check out the Rules of Attraction trailer!! (Isn’t Alex CUTE!)

I must confess that I haven't read either of these books (although I'm tempted to as I've heard so many great things about them), but as far as trailers go, I think I prefer the PC one – I loved how much fun it was and the song was really catchy, although I suspected that it didn't quite fit the book in the sense that it made it seem less serious than it actually was? The second trailer is really well made too and I'm guessing this one fits the book better? Either way, both are great and I really appreciate it when authors put so much effort into promoting their own books! Well done!

Both actors are really cute haha. The guy playing Alex was actually in Katy Perry's Hot & Cold music video. This trailer as a whole is awesome. Can't wait for the book!

Alright, I caved in and finally watched the trailer. All I can say is… wow. I hardly ever watch trailers, but that one was GOOD! Too bad I didn't like PC… I can see why people would scramble to read this one though!
