I have the privilege of sharing with you a story written by Leigh Purtill, The Rise of Ginny Cooper!
Leigh's novel All About Vee
As many of you know, the story that became ALL ABOUT VEE originally featured three young women who moved to Hollywood together to pursue their dreams. It was titled FAT GIRLS IN LA. The published product, however, was the story of just one of them, Veronica May. I always intended to tell the other two girls' stories to complete a trilogy.Yes, you did read that right... it said Free Content and Free Book. Not only am I going to share with you The Rise of Ginny Cooper, but you also have the chance to win a signed copy of ALL ABOUT VEE by Leigh Purtill.
The second book is titled THE RISE OF GINNY COOPER and is the story of Ginny, the writer who dreams of seeing her work on the silver screen. It picks up shortly after the first book ends but you don't need to read the first to enjoy the second.
Now here is the experiment part: I have decided to ride the wave of the future and publish it digitally!
Free content? Free book? How can you go wrong? I hope you'll enjoy THE RISE OF GINNY COOPER (with original artwork by Maurice Jordan!)
Here's a little bit more about The Rise of Ginny Cooper:
"Ginny Cooper has been two things for all of her life: a writer and a Vee. So when her best friend and fellow Vee, Veronica May, moves to LA to follow her dream, it's not long before Ginny moves there too. With laptop computer in hand, she's going to take Hollywood by storm and maybe find a little romantic luck - finally! But she soon learns it's not easy to shake the demons of your family's past - or your own."
the novel is no longer available here online, but check out Ginny!

The moment Veronica announced she was moving to Los Angeles to become an actress, Ginny knew her own future was about to change forever. It had always been that way. Where Big Vee went, the rest of the Vees followed.
