Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, the resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population. With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again...

Now Claire can actually concentrate on her studies, and her friend Eve joins the local theatre company. But when one of Eve's castmates goes missing after starting work on a short documentary, Eve suspects the worst. Claire and Eve soon realize that this film project, whose subject is the vampires themselves, is a whole lot bigger-and way more dangerous-than anyone suspected.
Three words; suspense, fast-paced & addictive

Caine has done it again. I was a little worried with the conclusion of Carpe Corpus, because a huge plot line that had been present in the previous novels had came to a close. My question was: "What could happen now?" I wasn't sure Caine could get that intense story back. However, I actually enjoyed Fade Out, more than the other novels. I loved the new plot line. I loved seeing what these characters did, without the looming threat that had been present in the other novels.

Like I've said before, The Morganville Vampire books are unlike any other vampire books out there. These are quick, highly entertaining reads, with awesome characters and a twisting plot line. I can't wait to see where Caine takes the next novel in the series! Keep an eye out for Kissing Death hitting shelves May 2010. (So, not happy about waiting that long!)

I've never read any of the Morganville Vampire books, but maybe I should start if one of them is rated so high. Thanks for the review ;)
