Business Card Giveaway

Uprinting.com is sponsoring a super cool giveaway for 250 business cards! I’ve never gotten any products from the site personally, but from what I’ve seen on the website they look like they’d be good quality. I’ll be getting my own cards as well!

Would you be interested? Here are some specs:

  • Sizes: 2×2″, 2×3, 2×3.5″
  • Paper: 14 pt (glass of matte cover) & 13 pt uncoated
  • Design: pick one of the very cool ones they have, or design your own

  • contest open to residents of the U.S. & Canada (free shipping in U.S. only)
  • deadline is October 20, 2009 @ midnight eastern time

    Well I have bookmarks already for my blog, which I hide in books at the bookstore. But I'd really like some business cards. Bookmarks can be a bit cumbersome so they're hard to pass out at some events.

    I just wanted to say to "Chick Lit Teens" that is so funny that you stick bookmarks for your blog in book at stores. I love it! I want to do it now. :)

    It actually reminds me of a vlog John Green made where he said he goes to bookstores and signs his books secretly. hahaha. I want to get one of those mysteriously signed books. :)

    I woud totally use them for my blog to stick w/ all my books i ship out and what not OR if they don't have to be used for book related i'd use them for my rabbitry.

    This is just perfect! If I would win these, I would use them so that my mom could jump start her business. I know it's not exactly from my book blog or whatever but I know she's the one who needs them and with this economy, being unemployed and trying to start a business is not so easy. Thank you!     I already have some business cards but I really want new ones.

    I want to add the blog email address, remove my mailing address and my phones numbers. Not sure why I put them on to begin w/. I just want people to visit my blog or email me!

    I used them during BEA this year and I hand them to random people. Not, really, but I do pass them out anyway I can w/o seeming strange. :)

    Oh this is so convenient! I've been debating whether or not I should get business cards made up. I also want to get 'company' header pages, and such…to be more professional if I need to fax a review or something.

    I've also been thinking about going with a new domain name, but not sure. I'll probaby figure it all out as soon as I move..ahhh.

    Ooh I would use them for my blog! Whenever I'm at a bookstore or really anywhere, and I meet people who share an interest in books I always tell them about my blog and usually I don't have paper with me to write my URL down. It would be handy if I had cards to give them!!

    I would use the business cards for my blog (like everyone else, it seems. o.o) I keep going to events and it seems like it would be a good idea to have some. Plus having your own bookmarks would be AWESOME

    At first the concept of having a business blog card seemed a bit silly, but after blogging for nearly a year and attending many events and meeting authors and such…I find that having a card is not only smart but professional looking as well. I believe that it makes you look better organized and that people will remember you.

    i've made up some (crappy) business cards for myself, including both my library information and my blog. initially i used them at conferences, but i find i could really use some around town– as i meet people, i'm always suggesting resources the library offers, and then we're scrambling for a piece of paper or a pen. it would help if i could give out business cards i wasn't somewhat ashamed of.

    Oh, this is clever. I'd like to have business cards so I could promote my blog of course :) And if on the off chance that I bump into an author, I can just dig in my purse and hand them my card. That'd be so cool :D

Seeing as how he has been so fantastic with my constant need to go to the book store (on a weekly basis) I could actually use this as a way the books gave back to him – LOL – he would NEVER be able to complain about my book addicition again (at least for a couple of months).
