About the Blog:
The Story Siren was founded in 2007. It features mainly Young Adult literature reviews from the point of view of a 'young at heart' adult. Not to mention interviews with various and awesome YA authors, numerous contests featuring YA books and related materials, news on new and noteworthy books and of course my thought and views in similar areas. If you are looking for reviews that are more along the lines of a 'literary analysis' or 'critical reviews' this probably isn't the place for you.
I don't write complex reviews. I'll tell you if I liked a book or not, and the reasons why. I'd rather spend my time reading than writing a two page review. Short, sweet and to the point is my motto!

About Me:
My name is Kristi, my online alias is Story Siren or The Story Siren. I'm a graduate of Indiana University (go Hoosiers!) and am currently a certified dental assistant. I work in an orthodontic office, changing the world one smile at a time! In addition to my insatiable love for reading, I also have a love or writing. Neither do I foresee ending anytime soon.
I was married in June 2006 and live in a small town in Indiana with my hottie husband and our only child, Xander, our spoiled rotten rottweiler.
I'm just another "adult" obsessed with the young adult genre.
